EFRinstitute
The EFRinstitute is a training and certification program for qualified candidates to learn the EFR method and become certified Ethnographic Futures Researchers. Training is provided through hand-on experiential learning. Participants of the Level I Fieldworker Training Practicum: 1) Experience the EFR interview process as an interviewee; 2) experience the process of conducting an EFR Interview; and 3) experience the process of preparing a written EFR summary. A follow-up Level II training provides qualified researchers with skills needed to design and implement their own EFR project. - EFR Fieldworker Training Practicum [Level 1]: This training prepares and certifies a participant to serve an EFR project in the roles of interviewer, summarizer, and compositor. Participants who successfully demonstrate a high level of proficiency in these skills will be eligible for training to become certified EFR Project Managers (Level 2, below).
- EFR Project Manager Training Internship [Level 2]: This training prepares and certifies a Level 1 graduate to independently design and lead a complete EFR project.
