EFRworkshops
EFRworkshops use facilitated face-to-face exercises to:
- Develop consensus on the preferred future for your organization or business; and
- Identify decisions and actions to make the future preferred by your organization or business more probable.
EFRworkshops are accomplished through a multi stage process:
Stage 1: Workshop Design
- Timeframe: One week.
- Objective: Clarify desired workshop outcomes, logistics, timeline, and expectations.
- Approach: Scheduled 90 minute conference call with workshop organizers.
Stage 2: Future Scan
- Timeframe: Three to six weeks.
- Objective: Survey current perspectives on environmental, technological, socio-demographic, economic, political and other trends the likely to impact on the organization’s or group’s future.
- Approach: Survey of client-identified stakeholders.
- Number of Participants: No restriction on number that can participate.
Stage 3: Face-to-Face Workshop
- Timeframe: Four to eight hours.
- Objectives: 1) Develop group consensus on a preferred future; and 2) Identify decisions that would make that preferred future more probable.
- Approach: Facilitated group exercises.
- Number of Participants: Up to 30 individuals from within an organization or group with a well defined shared interest in the future.
